- Provide the Services, including photo upload, restoration, enhancement, storage, and delivery
- Manage your account and authenticate access

When you upload photos for restoration, they are processed on our systems and/or through third-party processing providers that support our restoration pipeline. We use these photos to deliver the restoration service you request and to maintain secure operations, troubleshooting, and backups.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share personal information only where needed to run the Services, comply with law, or follow your instructions.
Service providers we use may include:
- Microsoft Azure (hosting and infrastructure in US and EU regions)
- Supabase (database, authentication, and storage services)
- Stripe (payments and billing)
- Replicate or similar image processing providers (restoration processing tasks)
- Resend (transactional email delivery)
These providers act under contractual terms that require them to protect data and process it only for defined service purposes.
We may also disclose information:
- To comply with legal obligations, court orders, or lawful requests
- To protect rights, safety, and security of users, the public, and PhotoScanRestore
- In connection with a merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets
- When you direct us to share, such as inviting family members to private albums
We do not sell your personal information.
We do not share your personal information for targeted advertising.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep the Services secure and functional, remember preferences, and understand product usage.

- After account deletion or plan cancellation: your data remains available for up to 30 days to allow download or recovery requests
- After that 30-day period: data is deleted from active systems; encrypted backups may remain for up to 90 days before purge
- Payment and tax records: generally retained for 6 to 7 years as legally required
- Support tickets and correspondence: typically retained for up to 2 years
